-When paying for a product, make sure it is always secure. Check to see that https:// is in the address bar when ordering. If not, do not order. The “s” stands for secure. Some illegal sites will copy a website, but will not have a secure ordering page, nor use a reliable merchant account.
-NEVER, NEVER, click on a link in your email that asks for personal info, such as name, birthdate, bank account, credit card #, Social security#, etc. Banks and legit businesses will never ask for this info in an email nor over the phone.
